Changes to eBay’s Completed Listings Pages & How This Affects Terapeak Users
Update via EcommerceBytes: eBay Reverses Decision to Shrink Photos
eBay’s Hoff told EcommerceBytes on Thursday, “As you know, we often test features to ensure they’re delivering a great experience for eBay customers. In this case, customers told us large pictures was a critical piece of information so we will be bringing them back.”

We would like to communicate a change that eBay recently rolled out through their system, which may affect the way you view content through Terapeak.
Prior to today, clicking on an eBay listing result in Terapeak would land you on a page like the following screenshot, which was an interstitial that promoted active listings similar to the completed listing result in Terapeak:

To view the actual completed listing page, customers would click on a button called “See Full Description”. This would lead to a completed listing page that very closely resembled the active listing and included all photos, description, item specifics, and purchase history.
As of today, clicking on an eBay listing result in Terapeak will land you on a page like the following screenshots, which combine the former interstitial page with the completed listing page, and eliminates all but one photo:

Active listings are promoted prominently right on the completed listing page, and clicking on “See Full Description” simply jumps down the page to the description section.
Although you may be accessing these completed listing pages through a Terapeak link, please note: Terapeak does not control this content. Completed listing content is managed and maintained by eBay. If you have accessed this content through Terapeak, please note that you have arrived at this eBay page/content through the Terapeak system, and Terapeak does not control this content. A similar change occurred around this time last year when eBay first revised the completed listings pages to include the interstitial.
